Taking place February 14-16, 2025, in Washington, DC, the event will bring together the country’s top step teams, paying homage to the tradition’s roots in the Divine Nine while showcasing the artform’s dynamic evolution. Step Afrika! has been at the forefront of stepping for three decades, and now, it’s time to take this beloved tradition to new heights. The Step Afrika! Step Classic is not a competition; it’s a celebration of the energy, precision, and creativity that makes stepping one of the most exciting and powerful art forms in the world today.
TICKETS TO THE STEP CLASSIC STEP SHOW
The Step Classic Step Show, the centerpiece of the weekend, will take place on Sunday, February 16, at 6:00 PM at the Warner Theatre in downtown Washington, DC. This electrifying event will bring together the best step teams from across the country to perform in a thrilling display of artistry, athleticism, and unity. Get ready for a night of high-energy performances that will showcase the very best in stepping. Leading the show as the special guest MC is Lala Milan. Known for her infectious humor and unmistakable presence, Lala is a digital content creator, comedian, and actress with credits including Boomerang and A Black Lady Sketch Show. She will bring her unique energy to the Step Afrika! Step Classic, making this an event you won’t want to miss.
