Step Afrika! in Senegal

Step Afrika! will bring the African American tradition of stepping to Senegal November 23-27, 2024, hosted in partnership with the U.S. Embassy. The tour will include a series of high-energy workshops with the National Ballet La Linguère and students from Artea Culture Ecole, as well as a collaborative performance at the renowned Théâtre National Daniel Sorano. The Company will also engage with local students at CEM Soumbedioune, experience cultural exchanges, and participate in a feature on the popular TV show After + on 2sTV. This tour celebrates cultural connections and artistic exchanges between the U.S. and Senegal through the powerful art of stepping.
